AORA represents the Australian oil recycling industry whose members encourage the collection, management and recycling of used oil and activities that prevent used oil from entering the environment.

Some of the major goals of the association include:

Increase public awareness that oil can be re-refined

Increase the demand for rerefined oil

Motivate the public to recycle their used oil

Represent the oil recycling industry when dealing with State or Commonwealth Governments

Provide the public with convenient collection locations for used oil
